Yes, many might be surprised how this shot trains your eyes to lock-in on the object ball and the timing is like hitting a table tennis ball. However, FYI, this was done on a 9 foot Pro Table with triple shimmed 4 inch pockets, slicing the ball at a 2L from the opposite pocket, behind the back.
I think if more people tried the wing shot, they might surprise themselves. I tried it one time just for kicks and that very first time, I made it. And for quite awhile, I could make 3 out of 4. I can’t speak for others, but like bank shots, the sight just comes to me. I can’t believe such is very rare.
