He’s got some good advice, you want to keep your cue as level as possible to make the shot as clean as possible.
– elevate as little as possible.
– make sure you are lined up as close to the vertical center-line of the CB as possible.
– focus on the CB during the final stroke (instead of the OB, which is recommended on typical shots).
– keep good stroke mechanics (see “stroke best practices document” on my website, in the “Instructor/Student Resources” section)

Do you have any advice for shooting over balls, when the cue ball is touching rail or anything that would cause your normal stroke to be altered?
