  1. very popular but it is fun teaches your english an understanding of it

  2. popular for koreans…three cushion

  3. i believe this is a popular game for latino players. i regular a pool hall in santa ana, ca and they have half carom table and half pool table, personally i have never played but the carom tables there are always people playing that. ive wanted to play but my friends don’t like playing it, and i didin’t want to ask one of the people to play but i am interested in playing it

  4. A fun drill I use to practice simple caroms is to throw one ball out on a standard pool table and attempt to scratch the cueball off of it. When you succeed, continue shooting with the ball in hand behind the string farthest from the object ball. Practice like this will greatly improve your ability to see and control the path the cueball takes after striking an object ball. Not only is this useful in safety play and cluster busting but otherwise unthinkable carom shots suddenly become gimmes.

  5. I enjoy carom games and am admittedly not great at them. Surprising though, an average player spending a couple hours at a table playing 3 cushion can really inspire your pocket pool game. By the end of the session, your mind will become better able to see natural 3 rail pathways. A you noted, this can help with breakouts, position play and especially safety play.

  6. Well this is just plain important for getting break outs, I will be practicing this on my regular table to improve my breakouts as thats one of my biggest problems getting out.

  7. and the dutch love it – and rule it!
