ISnooker SUX! More than WSC2005, which does sux too. The best game so far was Virtual Pool 3.

gotta say 2 things. horrendous break, was terrible pos. if u wana play a proper snooker game then play a game called isnooker u can make a free 2 week trial acc and its 10 times more realistic than that crap
The pockets are dead small in this game the best score i got was a 137
Positioning is EVERYTHING!
I’ve got this game for Psp and i just can’t get a maximum because the pockets are incredibly tiny and i can’t get the decent positioning
I’ve played pool for years and snooker for a year or two. And I’ve played virtual pool 3 for years and it’s simply the best game on pc ever. WSC IS too easy cause you can’t get the aiming aid off and the cueing is pretty poor too. In virtual pool 3 when you hit the cue with your mouse and the feeling is pretty good. I know that it’s not the prettiest game ever made but it runs on older pc’s and does what it’s supposed to do, simulate billiards.
I cant tell you whats the diference coz i’ve never played wsc 2007. But you should buy it, it’s an amazing game. Try!
You can’t hit the cue too low on the ball, it will try to penetrate the space between the cloth and the ball and will kinda eject the ball. You can do that pretty easily trying to screw the white, I’ve seen professionals doing that on championships, like Stevens on one final vs O’sullivan, and several others. Everybody once in while makes that mistate, coz screwing is one of the hardests effects to master. Cant tell you how many times I’ve ejected the white out of the table trying to superscrew!
First… WSC is not that easy! You can change the directional lines from big, medium and small. I’ve played WSC 2005 for 2 years and made just 12 147′s, all of them in the big directional lines, about 5 centuries on medium and with small lines, no more then 60 points. Its not that easy.
Second… Balls do jump like that! Just today I was playing real life snooker, I screwed a ball from one side of the table to the other, but when I was learning how to screw, many times I’ve miscued like that!
I am afraid its too easy cause a 147 is not that easy
you gotta be Hendry or O’sullivan or Williams to do it

I downloaded the virtual pool 3d demo version but I cant play snooker.
the 4ball part is amazing ( the physics ) but when I hit the bottom of the balls they just jump to air
I sometimes play snooker in my uncles house and I have never seen balls jump like that
plus the graphics are really poor.
is world snooker championship really bad in gameplay compared to virtual pool?
I can buy world snooker championship 2007 for pc if I want but is it physically realistic?

WSC series are the best choice, unfurtunally the 2007 version you will find only for videogames, not for pc.
Virtual Pool is the most realistic one, speaking on physics.

I tried cue club but I didnt like it either because it only shows from the top.
and I didnt quite undrestand whatas wrong with the 3d engine of this game that doesnt let you play without the lines.

Not pool 3, Virtual Pool 3. And have almost 30 game types, including snooker (6, 10 or 15 reds). The physics are perfect.
Well, thanks. I will ckeck out pool 3. To be honest is not that good this WSC 2005., I mean it looks quite decent but the balls move very bad on the table, they stop to suddenly. The IA is very high, so that’s a good point. I prefer to play Carom 3D which has all billiards game types, including snooker.The physics of this game, make it very realistic, + its absolutely free and online.
Without the lines you wont be able to pot a single ball. The 3D engine cannot simulate depth of field and so you have no idea where are you aiming exactly, its just too hard. If you want to play a game without those lines, a more realistic game is virtual pool 3, which Im currently playing. Actually I think its more realistic then WSC2005 in all aspects.
I havea question. Can u disable the lines that show u where the ball will go. Its unrealistic and i want to play without them
Its a game… a very good game actually… it simulates the whole season with all the ranking events and qualifiers, and you have to compete each one to make fame and fortune…

I wonder is that some kind of 3d-made stuff or is it a pc game? What is the name of that if its a game??
The thing is, its not a fake 147… i’ve made over 15 of them in the game. The problem was when i was building the video, i was recording and pausing after each shot coz theres a lot of crap i wanted to cut for the video not being too long, and i must have picked the wrong parts of the colour balls part, since i had a lot of them coz i had to try about 12 times to finally do it. (the game get severe slow downs when you start recording)…

the blue nd pink are not on theit spots when the lase red goes down yet when he clears the colours they are!
