  1. I believe your argumentation about “half-angle” is wrong. The simplest counter-argument is as follows: assume the yellow ball is placed exactly at the upper-right corner of the table as seen in your video. Then an angle you measure would be 45 degrees and half-angle is 22.5 degrees. This is a wrong aim – in fact you need to make a use of a 30 degrees angle, so that the ball hits the opposite rail exactly in the middle between two pockets.
