  1. I found that fascinating to watch

  2. No- Honestly. You would get away with it on a Pool Table because they are rarely ironed but a full sized table is ironed on a daily basis and the patch would just fall off. Also, the patches are much more heavier than cotton and will affect play.
    Thanks..

  3. ah, sure, but thats all underneath, if u glue it and use powered felt on top, it would “look” brand new and not like Frankenstein stitches.

im sure the prince of Sudan could afford a new pool table every time he played.

  4. just make sure you give the table a really hot iron after stitching.
See if you use glue of any kind, then iron the table it will be like applying soft chewing gum to the cloth!!
    Hope i helped you.

  6. Hi,Sorry if i sounded rude but 40- years in the trade and working in the trade for 30 years and recovering tables for world champion snooker players and the prince of Sudan does qualify my to say my bit- lol!
Seriously thou, i can do a stitch that is so flat you can run a ball right over it without knowing

  7. well excuse me mr. know it all, was just a suggestion, id rather play on a flat table, then have a big hump from all that stitching. and i said “tacky glue” you can get it at a craft store, its a brand! it stays tacky, and you can wash it off. i agree dont put elmers glue on slate.

  8. Hello- NO!!!!!
Never use glu on the slate- of any kind.
The glue will never come off without having to sand it off and cause a dip in the slate.
some of the biggest snooker companies will tell you never to use any form of adhesive on the face of the slate!!

  9. ok the stitches will get in the way of the ball action? should use “tacky glue” on the table, glue the felt down, you can also get “powered felt” and sprinkle it on, would be completely smooth and you wouldn’t see anything.
