  2. these shots were amazing ! :O
    especially shots 7 and 9

you do realise that on a snooker table the pockets are smaller, and the table is much bigger then on a pool table.

Plus you have to remember that this is a world championship ! players cant just do trick shots whenever they feel like it because they are up against tough oponents and if they miss a shot it could be gameover.

i know you said you didnt care anymore.. but i just wanted to emphasis the point somemore 😛 lol

  3. Hahah… look at the enormous chalk mark Robertson left next to the yellow spot!

  4. It’s a very good positioned drawback, since he gets it from yellow down to the free reds.

  5. whats so great about 6?

  6. do any of you realise that a snooker table is about twice the size of a pool table? you could never pot any of these shots, let alone position the cue ball so perfectly afterwards.

  7. lol… Cheers mate. Both win =)

  8. I don’t care anymore. You win. Those shots were amazing and snooker is the most difficult thing in the world.

  9. My definition of “pool” is any cue game played on a pool table. I’ve played 8-ball and 9-ball most part of my life and I admit it’s not even close to snooker when it comes to difficulty level. Sure, it’s not easier to win in pool than in snooker if the opponent is as good as yourself. But potting is.

  10. When I say “pool” I’m not just talking about 8-ball. It could be 9-ball, one pocket, whatever. The physics are still the same. I don’t have anything against snooker. All I’m saying is those shots aren’t that impressive.

  11. I you haven’t played snooker before I’ll bet you would have a hard time even getting close to the pocket. Pool is like a child game compared.

  12. It’s illegal to jump directly over another ball with the cue ball. But if you hit a ball and jumps over another after it’s okay.

  13. The #1 shot was amazing, triple bank to escape from the snooker.

  14. I read in one of Byrne’s books that any sort of jump shot was illegal in snooker. Is that no longer the case?

  15. people need to understand that this is snooker not pool…

  16. I play pool. And I can pot some balls in a nice way. So I tried once to play snooker…. and believe me guys. That is different. I totally failed. Starting by standing at this table. the smaller balls pretty far away, smaller pockets. Pretty hard to pot. So… these guys on the video here know why this are difficult shots. And I guess they can play pool too. 😉

  17. i think people need to understand there is more to the shot than potting the ball

  19. Wow !!! look at 3:38

  20. No you couldn’t do those shots. This was the World Championships don’t forget, in front of a large live crowd and TV audience. Anyway, snooker is different from pool and billiards, It’s not a question of just potting the ball and making it look good with fancy tricks. You have to think of positioning. To pot a tricky red and then land in a perfect position to pot a colour, is very hard indeed.

  21. ya some of these shots are not very amazing i would expent most good billiard players could make any of these shots. I can do some of these and i barely play

  22. the trick at 1:30 im 14 i can do tht with ease

  23. 1:30 aint hard

  24. well n.1 seems easier than it really is..
